I’m Dave Grohlster -The nicest Muppet in rock.
I dig that not everyone’s life can be as sweet as mine- the rock n roll parties, the Laydeez, the pies. So if you’ve got a problem – emotional, physical or you’re just in a bit of a quandary, drop me a line on our contact page and I’ll do my best to get you On track.
Here’s some people in need of some advice, let’s take a look:
Dear Muppet Dave,
Since the release of Sound City Real to Reel, I’ve not been able to stop listening to it. I am so addicted to it, I listen to it everywhere. In the car, doing my shopping, whilst cooking, cleaning, walking, washing, showering and especially during sex!
What’s wrong with me that I can’t get enough of it? Will the need to hear it go away? I’m worried I might be OTT.
Concerned of Colchester.
Chill out dude!
It’s perfectly normal to be a little obsessive over some new tunes. Especially when they’re as rad as Real to Reel. Them tunes be banging. That Mantra is fierce. I am a little concerned about the use of stereo equipment in the bathroom though – you don’t want to electrocute yourself, man. I’m more of a Marvin Gaye guy when I’m getting it on – but as long as your partner is drumming to the same beat I don’t see a problem when you’re making sweet music- there’s some interesting rhythms to keep up with, which can only improve the path to Heaven and All. You’re not OTT but I recommend slowly introducing other albums back into your listening plan- bit of Nirvana, maybe some Foos.
You’ll soon be back in track.
