I really don’t write on here as much as I should. I just want to give a bit of a back story of my life. To explain how important the Foos and music is in my life. My big brother Ben got me into the Foos, Nirvana, The Offspring and Green Day when I was 11.
I sadly lost my brother in 1999. We scattered his ashes at Glastonbury Festival. He was 18. My life went completely upside down from then on. With only the love of his music keeping me going. Until I meet my now husband at Leeds Festival. When I was just 18 in 2003. The love of placebo and Linkin Park bringing us together. My life really did start again.
We now have 2 beautiful boys. One with autism, ADHD and the other with global development delay and quite a few other health problems. I have left work to care for our youngest. My amazing husband Pete Johnson was planning on running 12 miles to the local children’s hospital to raise money for them as they saved his life when he was young and have done loads for our youngest.
We found out 2 days ago that my husband has MS. I am writing this on here as I know what a lovely family this group is. He is quite concerned how I am going to cope with 2 boys with additional needs and a husband with MS. When I picked him up from the hospital after finding out. Foo fighters Times Like These came on the radio. My life, my family and my love for music will get me through. It’s times like these we really do learn to love and life again. Love music and love my boys. All 3 of them lol xxx
